Today we turned our attention to building an action plan around the tech-based activities that we researched. We narrowed down to the top digital assets. We considered the phases of the lesson and pondered where in the learning plan these activities could fit, figuring out if they would be suitable for the introduction, practice or reflection, as well. As teachers, we had to ensure the lesson was eco-friendly and impactful, and chose online quizzes, and activities over printing out worksheets. We also proposed a small team task where the students could come up with eco-friendly ideas to be applied to their school.
By the end of the session, we had a structured plan that combines environmental education with modern technologies. It was nice to see how digital tools can make the topic more engaging and relevant for students.
