Today we continued working on our topic Green World. Even though we only touched on it briefly, we talked about why it is important to take care of our planet and how small daily actions can make a difference. We looked at simple examples such as sorting waste, saving water and reusing materials.
As part of our learning situation, we also discussed a classroom activity and reflected on whether it is suitable and meaningful for children. We thought about how activities connected to environmental themes can help children develop ecological awareness from an early age. Even a short discussion showed us how easily these ideas can be included in everyday teaching.
Overall, today’s lesson helped us think more deeply about environmental education and how we can bring the idea of a Green World closer to children in an engaging and age-appropriate way.
